How to use you Multiply account For Making Money




hese are suggestions on how to use Multiply.com for your business.

1.) Open a multiply account. Its free. http://multiply.com

2.) Customize your template.
a.) Look at the right side of your page just below your photo and click “customize my site “

b.) Go up to “Site Customization”

c.) Go to THEMES and choose a theme that you like
d.) Choose a Theme or go to the link below that says: Check out http://customizedthemes.multiply.com for some great themes created by Multiply users.

e.) Follow the instructions on how to install the template that you've chosen. To change the header of your template: You can do this yourself or you can ask a professional to do it for you.
3.) Photos. Upload the photos of your products and include the complete description. Include prices, terms, sizes, weight, available colors, coverage of delivery, mode of payment, etc. You don't want people sending you messages asking the same things over and over again!

Make sure to upload only good quality photos. If it’s food, it needs to look appetizing. If its accommodation, it needs to look relaxing. If its clothes, people should be able to imagine themselves wearing it. Don't post blurred or unattractive photos.

Make sure to have an FAQ page that can answer almost all of the possible questions. Don’t include your bank account here by the way!

4.) Visit other people’s site and invite some. They will be able to see in their history that you have visited their site and most probably they will invite you as a “business contact” if they are up to it. (may take several days)

If you want to fast track --- grow your contact list quickly, invite as many potential customers as you can. Do it discretely and politely.

Remember, you don’t want to be perceived as a spammer or someone doing “hard sell” tactics. When inviting contacts include a short polite note similar to this:

“ hi, in case you are interested, feel free to add us as one of your business contacts, thank you.”

Don’t sell here. Just introduce yourself and say hi. Again, try not to sell --- you know what they say about first impressions.

5.) Expand your contacts. After several days, look below your page. You will see people viewing your site. Click and invite them as your business contact. If they accept, Multiply will automatically send them updates every time there is an activity in your site.
They will receive notifications thru email or their inbox every time you add a new product or every time someone leaves a comment on your multiply page.

6.) Don’t Mix -- Personal and Business. As much as possible, separate your Personal Multiply account from your Business Multiply account. You don't want confusion. I’m sure you don’t want strangers looking into your personal life!

In this way you can just focus on your business whenever you are logged in to your business account. When you are done taking care of business, log-out from your Business Multiply account and log-in to your Personal Multiply account to see your friends and just enjoy your time.

7.) Deliver only quality products and services. Be competitive. Being on-line gives you the edge to be in the web market place, but this edge will not last if you offer inferior products and services. Set a high standard for your business.

8.) Avoid spamming. Don’t leave advertisement or promotional comments in other people’s multiply page. This may come across as annoying and spamming. (similar to house to house selling) Do business only within your own Multiply Page as much as possible. You can go to their site to greet or to thank them for their purchase.

9.) Open a Paypal account.
10.) Build a Brand. Be known for your 5-star service. Be known as someone who is easy to talk to. Be known for someone responsive. Be known for high quality products. Be known for something. People should think about you or your brand every time they need your product or service.
